HEALTH CAMPS FOR AUCKLAND
RECOMMENDATION TO GOVERNMENT
[THE PRESS Special Service.]
AUCKLAND, November 14.
A recommendation that two permanent health camps for children should be provided in the Auckland province from the proceeds of the King George V Memorial Fund is being made to the Government by the central council of the National Federation of Health Camps. It is hoped that one camp will be established at the seaside and the other inland. "We hold the view that as about onethird of the population of New Zealand is in the Auckland province there should be two permanent health camps in the province," said Sir George Richardson, chairman of the central council.
