IMPRISONMENT SENTENCE Charles "William McDonald was sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment witk hard labour on a charge of bests found drunk in Fairfield avenue on November 12. On a second charge of procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order, McDonald was convicted and discharged.
TWO FINES IMPOSED
James Patrick Tanner was charged with being found drunk in a public place on November 12, and with obstructing a conductor employed by the Christchurch Tramway Board. Tanner was fined 10s, in default 48 hours' imprisonment, on the first charge, and was fined 10s and ordered to pay costs on the, aecond.
