FURTHER INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP
Mr J. D. Brown presided at the monthly meeting of the committee of the New Brighton Library. The secretary reported that subscriptions during September and October amounted to £29 10s, an increase of £1 compared with the previous two months. Eighteen new subscribers had joined, making a total of 272. Ninety-three books had been placed on the shelves and 42 purchased for this month.
