RECORD ENTRIES FOR COMPETITIONS CHRISTCHURCH CENTRE MEETS More than 900 bowlers—a record num-ber-are taking part in Saturday bowling competitions in Christchurch this season. In the three-rink championship 21 clubs, with three rinks in each and a total of 252 players, are taking part. Twenty-eight clubs, with a total of 84 teams and 672 players, are competing in the pennant competition for the Manning Cup. and 16 clubs are playing in thp clubs 1 open tournament.
