THE GUARANTEED PRICE
TO THE EDITOR 0» TH» PRESS. Sir, —At the annual general meeting of the Central Co-operative Dairy Company held on October 13 a resolution was unanimously carried that the Government be asked to publish the report of how it arrived at the guaranteed price paid for butter-fat. Nothing has been heard of the resolution since. I should have thought that Mr Morgan Williams, member of Parliament for Kaiapoi, and co-opted with the Minister for Agriculture, also a director of the, Central Dairy Company, would have been sufficiently interested in dairy farmers to have attended to this matter.—Yours, etc., H. BLISS. Heathcote, November 6, 1937.
