UNDEFENDED DIVORCE ACTIONS DECREES GRANTED A comparatively light list of cases came before the Supreme Court yesterday, when Mr Justice Northcroft heard petitions for divorce. About 20 petitions have been set down for hearing, but some will not come before the Court until Monday. Decrees were granted in the following petitions:— Nancy Cowper, of Christchurch (MrR. A. Young) v. Lawrence Roland Cowper, seaman, whereabouts unknown, on the grounds of separation; decree nisi, to be made absolute after three months. Gordon Mclntyre Gee (Mr H. P. Smith), commercial artist, of Christchurch, v. Etta Maude Gee, of _ Christchurch, on grounds of separation, decree nisi to be made absolute after three months. . Cyril Gore Crawford, of Christchurch, clerk (Mr A. W. Brown), v. Isobel Crawford, of Christchurch, on the grounds of separation; decree nisi to be made absolute after three months. Sydney Corner, storeman, of Christchurch (Mr C. V. Lester), v. Iris Corner, of Christchurch (Mr R. Twyneham), on the grounds of adultery.
