NATIONAL PARTY MEETING
A meeting of friends and supporters of the New Zealand National Party was held in Omihi last evening. !H*ere was an attendance of 51. The scheme of organisation was outlined by the secretary for the Canterbury Division* and a strong committee o"f IS vat formed. Mr E. A. Foster was elected chairman and Mr J. McAlpine secretary. The meeting was afterwards addressed by the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes. M.P., who spoke on the general political situation.
