THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL
WELLINGTON. November 2. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m.
The Ngaruawahia Borough Council Empowering Bill, the Auckland Harbour Board Loan Empowering Bill the Motueka Borough Council Empowering Bill the Wanganui Harbour District and Empowering Amendment Bill, and the New Plymouth Borough Council Bill were received from the House of Representatives and were read the first time.
The Air Force Bill and the Air Department Bill were read the first time, and the second time pro forma, and reported back from the Statutes Revision Committee without amendment. The Nelson Diocesan Trust Board Empowering Bill and the Hamilton Parsonage Site Amendment Bill were read the second time.
