DIPLOMATIC OFFICIALS KILLED
.MOTOR ACCIDENT NEAR ATHENS (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, September 11. Mr Patrick Roberts, the British Charge d'Affaires in Greece, was killed in a motor accident near Athens last night. Mr Roberts went to Greece after joining Sir Sydney Barton at Addis Ababa in 1935. He acted as Charge d'Affaires at Addis Ababa in 1936. Mr A. S. G. Trapman, of the British Consular service, who was with Mr Roberts, was also killed. • The Prime Minister (General Metaxas) will, in his capacity as Foreign Minister, attend the funeral of Mr Roberts.
