Australian Glass were firmer, with sellers and business at 935. Broken Hill Proprietary wore firmer at 78s 3d. and more were offered at 78s 4d, buyers at 78s. Electrolytic Zinc, ordinary, advanced to 575, market closing 56s 9d buyers. 57s 2d sellers. G. J. Coles were firmer on buyers* offers. 96s 6d. Hume Pipe (Australia) were steady at 20s 2d. Taranaki Oilfields declined to 6s 2d. market closing 6s 3d buyers, 6s 4d sellers. Goldfields Dredging changed hands at 3d and 3',d. and more were wanted at the higher nrice. Broken Hill South, cum dividend, were stronger, with buyers and dealings at 48s Bd. Mount Morgans were firm at Us Id. Unlisted Stock McKenzies Department Stores showed an easing, with dealings at 88s and 87s fid, and more were wanted at 87s, but sellers were reticent.
