CRIME A DISEASE?
THEORY OF U.S. MEDICAL MEN (Received September 10, 8.45 p.m.) CHICAGO, September 9. State medical experts, after testing spinal fluid from nine habitual criminals at the county gaol, are convinced of the existence of a previously unknown disease stimulating criminal tendencies. They have issued a statement declaring that if further investigations bear out the theory it may be possible to evolve a remedy. They recommend tests of criminals throughout the United States.
