"RUBBER BAND" MUSIC

Obtain a narrow strip of wood, and divide it into various lengths. These must be fixed firmly to one side of the inverted box. At the top of each strip ot wood a drawing pin must be pressed in, and a rubber band passed over each.

Now comes the tuning. Stretch the bands until, by "twanging" with a pencil point, you find the needed notes. Then fix the other end of the band with a second drawing pin. Sometimes you will find this pin will have to be placed along the side of the box, at others on the top. It doesn't matter as long as you find the correct notes.
