"MEMORIES"
The old rustic bridge by the mill Seems to haunt me in dreamland
still. The scent of the flowers In their colourful bowers And the Uees lazy drone in the sun.
The pretty pink blossoms in spring. And birds in the trees always sin&. While a rippling stream With a silvery gleam, Flows on to its home in the hills.
Old memories of days long ago, When we sat in the twilight glow. Mother's old-fashioned stories
Of lons vanished glories, When she was a child years ago. —'MATE PUAOTANGA, Mount Pleasant.
