NORTH BRIGHTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE
Mr A. Florance presided, over the monthly meeting of the North Brighton School Committee. A motion of sympathy was carried with Mr V. W. Colville in the death j of his mother. j It was decided to give a farewell social to Mr E. B. Diehl, in the Memorial Hall, on September 8. A resolution was carried expressing appreciation and thanks to the headmaster, staff, and children, for their work in the successful annual school concert. Mr W. E. Wilkins reported that the laying out of the ground in front of the school as a sports ground for the younger pupils was beißg oarried out.
