AucMand—The morning was cool and cloudy, but the afternoon was warm and sunny with a light westerly wind. Pressure was high and steady, the barometer at 5 pjn. reading 30.15 inches. Wellington—The day was mild and overcast with a squally north-westerly wind. * Dunedin—There was bright sunshine with a light to moderate north-easterly breeze during the day, and the temperature reached a maximum of 59 degrees. The barometer fell sharply to 29.80 Inches.
