CHARTER 0F TANKER NEAR END
(rUM USOCUTIOfI tiuonn.) WELLINGTON. September 10. The oil tanker Thorhild, of 10,316 tons gross register, which arrived at Wellington this morning from Tanjong Oeban, is to make only one more round trip to San Pedro before her long charter to the Union Steam Ship Company cornea to an end. It is not yet known what vessel will be chartered in her place. The Thorhild will leave Wellington on Monday for San Pedro to load her final cargo for Wellington under the present charter.
SCOW SHELTERING ♦ (PASS* ASSOCIATIO* VUVtatUkM.) AUCKLAND, September 10. An earlier report from Gisborne that concern was felt for the safety of the auxiliary scow Ngahau, which had left Gkborne towing a heavy timber beam, and had not arrived at Tokomaru Bay, is now discounted. The owners of the vessel in Auckland have received a telegram stating that the Ngahau is sheltering at Tolaga Bay.
