CANTERBURY AUTO-CYCLE CLUB All classes of machines will bo catered for at to-morrow’s hill-climb to be held by the Canterbury AutoCycle Club, at Halswell. There will be three events —a speed hill climb, a solo flexibility test, and a pillion flexibility test for women pillion passengers, with a minimum of live entries The speed hill climb will comprise 250 c.c., 330 c.c., 500 c.c., and open classes. The winner of each class will be presented with a cup. The flexibility test will be open to all machines and will be run under the system of the winner being the one recording the biggest difference in time between a slow and a fast run over the course in a nominated gear. The climb will be held at Quarry road, which is at the foot of the Halswell quarries. Competitors and spectators will follow the main Akaroa road to the Halswell store, and then follow the shingle road to the foot of the hill.
