DANCER HELD FOR RANSOM
DISAPPEARANCE FROM PARIS HOTEL (Received August 9, 10 p.m.) PARIS, August 9. ‘ Police throughout France are seeking Jean de Koven, an American dancer, who, disappeared from the Paris Hotel at which she was staying with her aunt. The latter has since received a demand for £ 100 ransom. Th girl’s travellers’ cheques, with forged endorsements, had been cashed at various Pans banks.
