RANGITANE AT COLON The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that its motor-liner Rangitane, en route from London to Wellington and Auckland, reached Colon on Thursday morning. She is due at Wellington on August 25. WAIRUNA’S NEW SCHEDULE The Wairuna is to leave Los Angeles on Friday for Auckland, Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, and Australia, and is due at Auckland on August 31. She should arrive at Wellington about September 8. HERTFORD CLEARS CURACAO Advice has been received by the Federal Company that the Hertford, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, cleared Curacao last Tuesday. She is due at Auckland on August 29. TAINUI FROM LONDON The Shaw, Savill liner Tainui, which Is to leave London on August 19, will not now call at Bluff. She is due at Wellington on September 27 to land passengers, and will leave again later the same day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Napier to discharge. THE JAMES COOK The steamer James Cook left Sydney on Wednesday for Auckland, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due at Auckland tomorrow. PORT OF WESTPORT [THE PRESS Special Service.] WESTPORT, August 7. The Te Aroha is expected to leave Wellington on Monday night for Westport. The Rata sailed at 10.30 o’clock last night for New Plymouth, via Tarakohe. The Alexander arrived from Picton at 11.30 a.m. to-day and sailed for Picton again to-night. The Hokitika arrived to-day from Wellington with general cargo. The Kalmai, loaded for New Plymouth and Wellington, is barbound, and will sail when the bar permits for New Plymouth. The Kallngo, still barbound at Wanganui, Is due to load here on Monday for Lyttelton. The Kartigi will sail from Wellington at 6 p.m. to-day with a small quantity of general cargo for Westport. She is due to-morrow evening to load on Monday with coal and timber for Auckland. The Poolta will sail from Wellington on Monday night with general cargo for Westport, and is due on Tuesday night to load for Napier and Gisborne. The Wingatui is due from Wellington about Wednesday to load with coal and timber for Wellington. The Kekerangu Is due on Thursday from Auckland to bunker for Geelong., The Kalwarra Is due from Wellington on Friday to load for Wellington. The Kalmai is due on Friday on return from Wellington to part load for Miramar and completes at Greymouth. High water at Westport on Monday, noon. The Karu left Wellington at 10 p.m. yesterday with cargo for Greymouth, and Is due to-night to load coal for Wellington. She will return on August 14 to load timber for Wellington and Miramar. The Kaimal is due about August 17 from Westport to complete loading coal for Wellington and Miramar. The Kalingo is expected to load timber at Greymouth for Sydney about the end of the second week in August. The Titoki is expected to sail to-night with coal for Nelson. She will return about Wednesday to load for New Plymouth and Wanganui. The Waimea is expected to sail on Monday with timber for Onehunga. The Hokitika arrived to-day from Wellington, and will sail later for Hokitika.
