BANK ROBBERY AT SUVA
£4OOO LOST FROM STRONGROOM
SUVA, July 2. The Bank of New South Wales at Suva was robbed of £ 4000 between midnight on Wednesday and daylight on Thursday. The money was taken from the strongroom, which contained a box ready to take to the Tavua mines for the payroll. The box was found across the road, broken open. The cash and notes were taken and a few drafts were left. , , , .. No locks were broken and the strongroom was intact.
