"PURSUANT to Sections 10 and 11 of the “Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” Public Notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers in the Waiau and Lyndon Ridings of the County of Amuri will be held on Thursday, the 17th day of June, 1937, for the purpose of obtaining the said ratepayers’ consent to the raising of a loan of £2BOO for a term of 25 years for the following purposes; £2600 for the purchase of land and the erection of additions to the building known as the Library Hall. Waiau; £2OO for taking over the building known as the Waiau Public Hall. Provision for repayment shall be a sinking fund of £2 10s per centum per annum during the term of the loan. Interest and sinking fund payments on the said loan shall be secured by an annual recurring rate of 8/125ths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the said Waiau and Lyndon Ridings in the County of Amuri. The cost of raising the loan and interest and sinking fund payments shall not be paid out of the loan. The Library Hall, Waiau, is hereby appointed the polling place, and the hours for polling shall be from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. on the above-mentioned date.
