Montagu’s Little Joke
Have you guessed where Lady Gay is yet? The West Coast! That* quite right, everyone, and really she is having a splendid f time. Poor Montagu Motor-car is a little weary in his wheels, but as he says, it’s all in a good cause, and Ms tyres are not a btt ttred. “That’s quite a good joke,” says Montagu, “and / made it alt myself.” Some day Lady Gay means to come back to the Coast and see every Shipmate and Sunbeam she has not been able to meet this time. She has worn out three Most Expensive Smiles, but she doesn’t mind that-—not a bit. . Right down at Waiho Gorge she met the members of the. Glacier Club. Every puptl tn that school is a “Press' Ship” member. Some time ago they produced a Glacier Club Page. They are going to do another very soon. , , - Then there were the Hokitika members—such a happy crew at Hokitika, with duos starting enthusiastically —the Country Cousins at Waitaha, the Tree fern ™ embe ™* . , Lady Gay could go on forever, but Montagu is touchy and says he It make another jone if Lady Gay doesn’t hurry. rjnYGAY It’s such fun seeing everyone.
