information about buildings TO BE OBTAINED To gain information required in preparing plans for the buildings necessary at the city airport, the City Engineer (Mr A. R. Galbraith) will visit Wellington next week and inspect the buildings at the Rongotai aerodrome. Mr Galbraith will also consult experts in the Public Works Department to ascertain the requirrments of the depart-* ment in the erection of the buildings. Particular attention will be given to such details as size. type, and amount of overhead clearance, among other important points. When the plans have been prepared the Mayor (Mr J. W. Beanland) will consult the commercial users of the airport and the Canteribury Aero Club, to discuss with them such matters as the use of the aerodrome, rent, and dues.
