rr* —: . . SYDNEY FAMILY RETURNS CraoM oub own correspondent.) SYDNEY, May 28. The Sydney yacht Sirius returned td Port Jackson this week after a voyage, of 30,000 miles around the world. The crew comprised the owner. Mr Harold Nossiter, and his two sons The Sirius left Sydney on July 14, 1935, and sailed to England via the Suez Ca 1 1. Oh the way back to Australia, thr '"i "ht crossed the Atlantic, calling" at Madeira, and Trinidad, hj passed through the Panama Canal, and on the voyage south called at Cocos Island, Galapagos Island, the B'Jirquesas, Papeete, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Ra-otonga, and Tonga. Mr Nossiter, who has written a booK about the first part of his adventure, said that wherever the Sirius went, it was admired by yachtsmen, especially in England. Its design, rig. and construction, did great credit to Australia. The beauty of Australian timbers Used in the interior fittings was also praised.
