CONSTRUCTION OF BARRAGE SUGGESTED (BRITISH . OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY. June 2. The Minister for Transport (Dr. E. L. Burgin), in an answer in the House of Commons, forecast a public inquiry by the Port of London Authority into the proposal for a barrage across thp river Thames below London, making the reaches in central and western London nontidal.
