JUBILEE DEBATING CLUB
Impromptu debates upon subjects including "That wars are justifiable" (Mr E. A. Brown and Mr J. Stanley), "That might is right" (Mr D. C. Powrie and Mr G. K. Hicks), and "That Fascism is preferable to Socialism" (Mr Hannah and Mr Stone) were held at the Young Men's Christian Association Jubilee Debating Club's meeting.
It was reported that arrangements had been made for a debate against the Returned Soldiers' Association team on. June 22, Messrs Brown, Ijowrie, and Stanley being selected to represent the Jubilee Club.
