Materials required; A walnut shell, marble, paper, cardboard, string, scissors, glue, and a pencil. Place half a walnut shell on cardboard and draw round it Cut out the cardboard shape. Find a

marble that is thicker through than the shell is deep, so that, when the marble is lying on the table, the shell placed over it is heid just clear of the table. Cut a round hole in the cardboard almost, but not quite, as large as the marble. Make this hole just as round and smooth edged as you can* so that the marble, when placed in it, turns round easily. For a tail, tie a string about five inches long through a hole in the large end of the cardboard. Glue the cardboard to the shell. Cut some mouse ears from paper and glue them to the shell. Mark the eyes and whiskers tvith a pencil.
