MAGISTRATE’S COURT F. F. Reid, S.M., presided at the trate’s Court Yesterday, üben C. Whitford, for driving inan iriconSiderate manner, was convicted and fined 10s and ordered to pay 10s costs. In a civil claim, A. G. Sinclair versus F. T. Ahern, judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount claimed, £l, by default King George V Memorial Fund The Town Clerk (Mr F. Hobbs) has received the following donations to the King George V Memorial Fund:— Lyttelton Harbour Board Employees’ Union £4 17s, Mrs J. Voyce £1 Is, Captain J. H. Plowman £1 Is, Mr R. C. Skippage £1 Is, Mr F. Hobbs £1 Is, Lyttelton Club £1 Is, Mrs J. D. Miller £l, Lyttelton Scouts Group 7s 6d, Mr G. Cowan ss, Mrs C. Brown £l, Mr M. Brown 10s. Mrs S. E. Martin ss, Miss L. Kenner 2s 6d, Mrs E. Bromley 2s (sd, Anonymous 2s 6d, Mrs G. W. Pattison 2s. The total is now £l7B 10s fid.
