SOVIET COMMISSAR'S SUICIDE
(Received June 1, 11.40 p.m.) MOSCOW, June 1. The Communist Party's Central Committee announced that Inspec-tor-General Gararnik, the Soviet assistant Commissar for Defence, had committed suicide. It is reported that he had become involved in anti-Soviet elements.
