KAIKOURA CLUB ' The members of the Kaikoura Golf Club played an eclectic match during the 1 week-end. The winner was C. Wareham, ] with a card of 34 net. ] The following are the best cards:—C. Peter beat G. C. Wallace, 1 up; H. J. Brown beat F. Warren, 5 and 3; A. M. Lambourne beat J. C. Smith, 2 and 1; J. A. Reid beat R. L. Withers; W. D. Sabiston beat S. R. O'Callaghan, 4 and 3; W. R Stuart beat E. W. Harris, 2 up; J. W Anderson beat A. S. Robinson, 2 and 1. Miss- M. Mackle was the winner of the eclectic match played by the women, with a score of 38. HAGLEY LADIES' CLUB The bogey match played yesterday resulted in a tie in the first division between Mrs J. C. Cullman and Miss R. Richards, a win in the second division for Mrs A. D. Cordner, and a win in the third division for Miss K. Talbot. The best cards were:— First Division—Mrs Cullman (11), 4 down; Miss R. Richards (13), 4 down; Miss D. Bruce (10), 5 down; Miss E. Stewart (11), 6 down.
