FOUR NEW CASES NOTIFIED Up to yesterday four new cases of infantile, paralysis had been notified during the week-end to the Health .Department at Christchurch. One death was notified. Three new cases were reported on Sunday and yesterday morning—a. boy aged six months, living in Spreydon, a boy of eight years, of Spreydon, and a girl of four years, living at St Andrews, in the Waimate County. A suspected case reported from Temuka last week has now been diagnosed as negative. SECOND POSITIVE CASE IN NELSON (PIIES3 ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.) NELSON, May 3. A second positive case of infantile paralysis has been admitted to tne Nelson Hospital. The patient is a man aged 21, from Owens riyer, a remote district, 50 miles from Nelson, wnere the first case was reported on Friday. EPIDEMIC IN WAIKATO TOTAL OF THIRTY CASES HAMILTON, May 3. Fiye cases of infantile paralysis were admitted to hospital at the weekend, bringing the total to 30 for Waikato. THREE MORE PATIENTS AT WELLINGTON WELLINGTON, May 3. Three positive cases of infantile paralysis were reported at Wellington to-day. They are a boy aged nine, from Lyall Bay, a boy aged 13. from Taranaki street, and a boy aged eight, from Miramar.
