ALBERTA MINISTER WILL NOT RESIGN
REFUSES PREMIER’S REQUEST EDMONTON, April 30. The Minister for Agriculture (M t r W. N. Chant) has refused the request of the Premier (Mr William Aberhart) for his resignation. The Premier stated that more aggressiveness and efficiency were needed in the department. Mr Chant declared in a letter that his responsibility to his electorate forbade his resignation.
