PILOT KILLED IN AIR FORCE CRASH
DEATH-ROLL FOR YEAR NOW FORTY-ONE y LONDON, April 30. While three single-seater Royal Air Force fighters were flying in formation over Hampshire, a machine which was slightly above the others suddenly nose-dived, colliding with the others. All three aeroplanes were shattered and the debris was spread over half a mile. Two pilots escaped by parachutes, but the third was trapped in the cockpit and killed. The Air Force death roll fof 1937 is now 41.
