MEETINGS IN OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND [THE PRESS Special Bcnrtcc.| DUNEDIN. May L Since March 1 the organisation at the National Party has been proceeding steadily in Otago and Southland. In the Oamaru district committees have been established at Oamaru. Windsor, Hampden. Palm erst mi, and Waikouaiti. Considerable activity is being shown in the Mataura electorate, where committees have been formed at Gore. Mataura. Wyndham, and Tapanui. The Clutha electorate has a strong organisation, which has the advantage of having a sitting member of Parliament m Mr J. A. Roy. The party organiser (Mr L. Colbourne) has been devoting much time to the country electorates, and is at nresent attending a series of meetings arranged in the Southland districts. These will end with a rally an all southern electorates at Invercargill on May 4. The leader of the party (the HonAdam Hamilton) will address a meeting of all members of the Dunedin committees and supporters here on Monday evening, and at a later dye a further meeting will be addressed ,oy Mr S. G. Holland, MP. for Christchurch North.
