RAIN AT OXFORD
w The rainfall at Oxford in April was 2.35 inches, falling on nine days, as against 2.56 inches, falling on seven days in April, 1936. The average for the month for 27 years is 2.73 inches. Since the beginning of the year 13.11 inches have been registered, as against 23.19 inches for the same period last year.
