Sir.— l should like to call your attention to a misunderstanding m my comments on the letter in to-day's paper signed by Teoti Pawhati Paiki I am not a Maori, and the paragraph reading "all members of my family" is intended to mean the Teoti Pawhati Paiki family, as he was the writer of the letter. —Yours, etc., A.
