"LOOPING THE LOOP" IN A GLIDER
——♦ —: —. BRITISH OFFICER CREATES WORLD RECORD CAIRO, April 20. Towed by a Royal Air Force aeroplane to a height of 8000 feet and then released, Flight Lieutenant E. L. Mole consecutively looped the loop in a German-built glider 67 times in 34 minutes—a world record. Fight Lieutenant Mole said that he was extremely giddy and had moments of doubt about the wisdom of his prawn mayonnaise lunch.
