KILLED AFTER ERRAND OF MERCY
TRAGEDY ON ITALIAN PEAK
(Received February 14, 8.6 p.m.) MILAN, February 13. Hearing that a ski-er was lying dangerously injured in a hut on Monte Rosa, a doctor from the village of Gressoney ascended alone and treated the man. During the descent, in company with 11 returning ski-ers, an avalanche overtook the party. Only the doctor was killed.
