• OPENING SESSION ON SATURDAY Those .universal favourites, .Mike Connors and Queenie Paul, will return to ChrbSrch with their own revue, company of 35 artists, whom they are presenting throughout New Zealand in conjunction with Sir Benjamin Fuller The Christchurch. season is """ted r ° four weeks and will begin at St. James Theatre on Saturday evening.- The opening production is entitled Cailmg all Stars," and features the well-known stage and screen comedian George Wallace, and introduces such artists as Minnie Love, Nellie Kolle, Lullai Fanning, Will Miller, Laurel Streeter, "Ginger" James, Rex and Bessie, and Harry Lock and Edna Hardy. Connors and Paul themselves are, of course, prominent in the production, and specialities will be introduced by "The Marcella Trio," adagio dancers. The! Russell Brothers, acrobats extraordinary: "The Morenis," burlesque dancers*; Leo Trenette, a new tenor from Australia; and a smart ballet of 10, known as the Sunkist Beauties," whose dancing and frdcking are remarkably artistic.
