JUNIOR TOURNEY FINAL STAGES REACHED In spite of the wind and rain the junior tournament run by the Canterbury Croquet Association was continued on Saturday. The games were slow to finish because of the frequent interruptions caused by the weather, but some very fine play was seen. In the semi-finals of the championship doubles, Mesdames Blunt and Lawson beat Mesdames Stewart and Malcolmson after an evenly contested game, the score being 26 to 19. In the other semi-final Mrs Beeby and H. Nettleton beat Mesdames Pearce and Bainbridge 26-13. The final of this event will be played this afternoon. In the semifinal of the handicap doubles, Mesdames Derrett and Lawson beat Mesdames Parker and McTeigue, 26-18, and Mesdames Adkins and Andrews beat H. Nettleton and Mrs Scarf 26-19. Results were:— A Championship Third Round—Mrs Adkins beat Mrs Symes 26-14. B Championship Second Round—Mrs Andrews beat Mrs Bonar 26-19. Third Round—Mrs Stewart beat F.
