FRANCE ADDING TO NAVY
GERMANY'S BILATERAL PACTS THREE YEARS' PROGRAMME (Received January 31, 1.15 p.m.) PARIS, -January 29. "Germany's intensive rearmament,'the Italo-German and Ger-man-Japanese ententes, and events in Spain have forced us to reconsider the naval situation," said the Minister for Marine (M. Gasnier Duparc) in the Chamber of Deputies.. "It has accordingly been decided to increase our tonnage from 630,000 tons to 830,000 tons by a thre) years' plan, which will be introduced shortly."
