WOMEN'S DIVISION OF FARMERS' UNION
DUNSANDEL BRANCH There was a good attendance at Ihe January meeting of the Dunsandel branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union. Mrs Chamberlain preIt was decided to co-operate with other district women's organisations in their effort to assist the Agricultural and Pastoral Association at the coming carnival. The afternoon was spent in competitions and musical items. Mrs C. A. Wright and Mrs H. A. Brown were prize-winners in the competitions. Other competitions resulted:—"My best Christmas gift," Miss Noehne Wright 1, Mrs John Walker 2. and Mrs E. G. Wright 3; "The best slice of Christmas cake," Mrs P. Y. Bell and Miss C. J. Aldridge (equal) 1, Mrs J. A. Scott 2, Mrs Chamberlain 3; large blooms, Mrs Chamberlain 1. Mrs J. A. Scott 2, Miss Ellen Alien 3; small blooms, Mrs E. G. Wright 1, Mrs C. A. Wright 2, Miss Ella Chamberlain 3.
