EXTENSION OF BRITISH STEEL WORKS

RUGBY, January 29. An important development in the North Lincolnshire steel industry is indicated by the announcement of United Steel Companies, Ltd., that they propose to spend £3,500,000 on new plant at the Scunthorpe works. Other big steel concerns in that area are also carrying out extensions to meet the present demand for steel.
