HALF-HOLIDAY AGAIN DEBATED

The half-holiday issue was again debated by the Marton retailers last evening, when the proposal to change from Wednesday to Saturday was carried by a narrow margin of votes. The change will take effect from March. The issue was debated twice previously, the decision to change to Saturday reached at a meeting in November being reversed at a meeting the following week. The retailers are still very dwoded,
