SYDNEY, January 29
Results in the semi-finals of the Australian tennis championships were:—
Men’s Doubles—Quist and Turnbull beat Thompson and Turvey, 6-3, 10-8, 6-2. Mixed Doubles—Hopman and Mrs Hopman beat Moon and Miss Wynne, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Women’s Singles—Mrs Westacott beat Miss Stevenson, 3-6, 8-6, 9-7.
