CATHEDRAL ORGAN RECITAL
Dr. Bradshaw will give an organ recital at the Cathedral on Thursday next at 8 p.m. The following is the programme;— Concerto for Organ and Orchestra in G minor and major, No. 1 (Handel); largo from the Second Pianoforte Sonata (Beethoven); prelude on the Welsh tune “Rhosymedre” or “Lovely” (Vaughan Williams); introduction and variations on a theme of Beethoven, Op. 45 (Merkel); “Chanson de Nuit” and “Chanson de Matin.” for orchestra, Op. 15 (Elgar); Canon in F major, Op. 21 (Salome); Prayer and Cradle Song (Guilmant); Coronation March from “Le Prophete,” for full orchestra (Meyerbeer).
