LADDER BREAKS
A linesman, J. Dawrant, of Barrington street, employed by the Municipal Electricity Department, suffered injuries to his back when a ladder on which he was working in Union street, Papanui. yesterday morning broke under him. He was taken by a St. John Ambulance to the Public Hospital, and admitted. His condition was not serious. ,
