LODGE MEETING
COURT PAPANUI, A.0.F., NO. 6585 The Chief Ranger, Bro. E. C. Philpott, presided over the annual meeting of Court Papanui, A.O.F. A motion of sympathy was passed with the widow of Dr. Stevens. The election of officers resulted as follows:—C.R., Bro. O. Fairbrass; S.C.R., Bro. E. W. Smith; S.W., Bro. F. E. Foote; J.W., Bro. L. Neilson; 5.8.. Bro. W. Harper; J. 8.. Bro. R. Claridge; 1.P.C.R., Bro. E. Philpott; trustee, Bro. J. Sey; delegates to district meeting, Bros. J. Claridge, H. Cowles, and A. Baker; delegates to United Friendly Societies' Dispensary, Bros. H. Owles and R. Hall; delegates to United Friendly Societies' Benevolent Association, Bros. F. E. Foate and L. Neilson; delegate to Friendly Societies' Council, Bro. E. Philpott; nominee for district beadle, Br A. V. Baker. The secretary of the Christmas tree committee reported that the funds were in good order and that the toys had been distributed to j&e children.
