EX-SERVICEMEN AT CORONATION

OFFER FROM EMPIRE SERVICE Through the New Zealand headquarters of the Returned Soldiers' Association an invitation has been received from the British Empire Service League for any former service men who intend going to London for the Coronation to send their names and addresses in England to it through the Returned Soldiers' Association. The league has made no guarantee, but will make every effort to arrange seats for them for the Coronation and for the Empire review of former servicemen the following month. It will also advise them of any other functions of interest to them. The offer evidently applies to those who are not going with the New Zealand contingent. The secretary of the Christchurch Returned Soldiers' Association, Mr E. F. Willcox, said yesterday that no advice had yet been received by New Zealand headquarters of the personnel of the New Zealand contingent for the Coronation, but he fully expected that it would be available within a short time.
