NO LAND FOR JEWS
PALESTINE ARABS* DETERMINATION SUGGESTION FOR CONFERENCE REJECTED (UNITED PBESB ASSOCIATION—COPXRIGHT.) (Received January 14, 9.30 p.m.) JERUSALEM, January 13. Replying to a suggestion by the chairman (Lord Peel) of the possibility of a round-table conference, an Arab witness before the Royal Commission declared that no Arab would sit at a table with anyone calling himself a Jew. The witness added that there was nothing to justify the British Government in giving away other people's property to strangers. The Arabs would refuse to give up a foot of land to the Jews.
